In this practice package, students will have the opportunity to practice or review multiplication facts in a fun, creative way. You will receive ten tree branch drawings and one sheet of leaves ready to be cut out. Each tree branch has a digit (1 through 10) and a multiplication symbol on it. Each leaf has a digit (1 through 10) and an equals sign with a space for students to write the answer to the multiplication fact they will create by gluing the leaves to the tree branch. For example, our cover page has the 5x tree branch and leaves have been added with the correct answers to complete the multiplication facts. You can add all the leaves to the tree branch or just a few. We suggest cutting out the branches and placing leaves to cover the ends of the branches for a very cute bulletin board display to introduce multiplication facts. Students can color these.
We have also included flowers and acorns to adapt this activity for a seasonal display. If you are using this in the spring, use the flowers with the branches and leaves. If you are using this in the fall, have students color the leaves in fall colors and add the acorns to the branches and leaves.
- 10 tree branch drawings, each with a different number
