This handy little multiplication facts booklet is a great way for students to have all the multiplication facts (1-12) in one place! It’s great for fun partner quizzes, early finisher’s practice, and at-home review. Also, having all the facts helps students see relationships such as multiplication patterns and properties. Students love having their own little booklet and will be motivated to practice until they’ve mastered the entire booklet!
There are two options for multiplication booklets, one with answers and one without so your students are able to write in the product for each multiplication fact. On the back of the booklet, there’s a chart for keeping up with dates students practice their facts. They simply add the date when they’ve practiced a certain set of facts. Copy the two pages front to back on the long edge, cut in half, and go! I suggest copying on white paper and allowing your students to personalize their booklets by coloring the front cover. You can even make an extra copy per student – one for school and one for home!
*Be sure to communicate expectations for use to your students. Some may think they can be used during assessments! :) Also, these booklets are created to supplement your multiplication unit and are not intended as a teaching strategy. As a plus, the half pages also double as great inserts for interactive notebooks and work well as practice drill sheets!
