Students will practice solving basic multiplication facts by completing this scavenger hunt.
This activity is very similar to "I Have, Who Has.." or "Zip Around Type Games" but can be done independently. However, you can pass the cards out and play "I have, Who Has..." as a whole class activity.
There are 28 multiplication fact questions. Students look at the problem on the card. Then they look for that answer on top of another card in the room. After they find the correct answer, they read and solve the problem on the next card, and then look for that answer on another card. (Basically, the problem is the "clue" in the scavenger hunt).
Students will have immediate feedback if they have solved the problem incorrectly because they need to find their answer on the next card (if they can't find the answer they will need to go back and check their work).
