Description

Multiplication Facts Table: 10x10 blank grid - Math Help
ROOKIE Elementary Montessori-inspired printable mental math page (1):

Learning multiplication is an essential part of your child’s elementary education.

Students who have mastered their multiplication facts gain a solid foundation helping them throughout middle school, high school and beyond. It is also an activity that can be easily practiced at home. Looking for more or extra homework for your students? Help them learn their Times Tables! These exercises are designed to encourage those students not confident in their abilities or hesitant to learn their multiplication & division facts.

Five Ways Parents Can Help Their Child Memorize Multiplication Facts:

  1. Be interested in math yourself. You are your child’s greatest role model!
  2. Find out what facts they already know. Spend the least amount of times on these.
  3. Focus primarily on the facts they need to learn; kids tend to struggle with 6s, 7s, 8s and 9s.
  4. Provide encouragement along the way; you could even use a chart to monitor progress.
  5. Spend quality time practicing together and remember to acknowledge their successes!

Dr. Maria Montessori believed the only way our world would find lasting peace was through educating our children. Much of her elementary curriculum was written by her during a period of internment in India during WWII. This time period helped solidify Dr. Montessori’s belief in Peace Education.
