This file contains 20 pages of flash cards that should be copied front and back to create 10 sheets (factors on front and products on back). The multiplication facts cover the factor pairs 0x0 to 0x12 all the way up to 12x0 to 12x12. These flash cards will be used by students for the first 12 weeks of school and will be combined with division flash cards the last twelve weeks of school (24 total weeks). The products are printed in the same table format but the borders are hidden so that when the copies are made only the guide lines to cut the cards apart appear on the side with the factor pairs. The cards should be copied front to back. Each student should receive one set which will consist of 10 pages; copied front to back. I recommend copying these cards onto cardstock for better durability. When I copy these for my students I collate them so that they are already in the stack of three pages they should receive so it is easy to hand each student the stack of three pages. I give the flash cards to my students to cut apart for homework the same day I give them the diagnostic timed test in class. The following day my students will bring in their cards in a stack and I provide for them a Ziplock bag and/or rubber band. *My students have a tendency to "misplace" their flash cards so when we begin studying a new set I collect the colored set of cards they no longer use. I make sure a rubber band is around the set of cards and either write their name on the top card or on a small piece of paper inserted into the stack of cards. I keep the flash cards by class in a small box or in a couple of file folders in a file cabinet.
