Description

Use this math facts homework chart with 9 different activities for weekly multiplication practice. Students choose up to 3 activities (or more) per week to make a tic-tac-toe. There's also a Level 2 chart for challenging students and varying the activities. Each activity comes with an explanation and examples for students and parents to see.

Students need consistent motivation to practice daily. They also need structured activities from which to choose. Parents need to verify that students are studying and practicing. Without consistent practice and accountability, students fail to learn the timetables.

HOW IT WORKS

The chart has 9 activities for your students to choose from. There are three columns with 3 activities in each column.

  • The student must choose from each column 3 to make a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal tic-tac-toe.
  • Students do all the work at home while parents sign on the chart for each completed activity.
  • A student advances on the multiplication facts at his/her pace.
  • Instructions are included for a formative, differentiated assessment for each child that you can give to the entire class at once!

  • Activities for the student to choose from include
    • -using flashcards
    • -using dice to multiply
