Common Core Standards: 3.OA.A.4 and 3.OA.C.7
This game is designed for students to practice multiplication fact fluency using multiplication expressions with missing factors.
This resource was originally created as morning work. It can also be used during RtI stations, math centers, etc. Simply print, laminate, cut and use!
Each page in this packet is an individual set. This gives you a total of 10 sets of sorts. For storage in my classroom, I have each set (copied on a different color paper per set) in a small plastic container purchased at the dollar store.
In my classroom, while some students are working on XtraMath.com, other students will spend time each morning doing flashcards and other math fact fluency activities. This activity can be done independently or in pairs.
Some ideas for using this product:
- Have students time each other, recording their time to beat in future days in math journals.
- Students can race another student that also has this activity for morning work/math centers.
- Students can sort and then record the sort in math journals, or on paper for the teacher to check over.
Students can check their peer’s work.
