Students will make a 3 way match using multiplication facts. The students will match the multiplication problem, a related story problem, and an array. The pictures on the arrays do not match the story problems so that the students do not just rely on the pictures, but instead actually look at the array. I have played this game 2 ways. I have copied and cut the game apart into cards. I have given each student in the class a card and they have to find their 3 way match. I have also put students into groups and had them make the 3 way matches together. I have also added a multiplication chart for the students to complete and then use as a resource. I hope you can use this in your classroom.
