Research tells us that error analysis is a powerful way to deepen understanding and is more cognitively challenging than rote repetition. Having students practice looking at equations to determine which is right and which is wrong is a wonderful way to have them practice multiplication fluency. This is a packet of 10 practice activities. Students must identify which equations are correct and which are incorrect and color them different colors. Mysteriously, if they are accurate, a mystery number appears! They must identify the mystery number and write four math equations that equal that number. They must also correct all the equations that are incorrect to provide additional practice. This packet is PERFECT for a math center, homework, whole group practice, or a fun filler activity. You will LOVE these multiplication practice pages and your students will, too! They can be used in grades 2-6 for any range of ability levels. Answer keys are included.
