Looking for fun multiplication practice that is self checking? These Multiplication Minute To Pin It Cards are the perfect addition to your multiplication tool box! They can be used to help students learn the multiples of each number from 2 - 12, or to reinforce the learning that has already taken place.

Students will place a clothespin on each square that has a multiple of the number that is stated on the card. Each card has 12 multiples. The student then turns the card over to check their answers. Use them in the way that fits best into your classroom:

PLAY ALONE - differentiate by setting different amounts of time, or no timer at all. My students LOVE to try to beat their personal best time!

PLAY WITH A PARTNER - one student holds the card, the other places the pins. Then they switch. No timers? Have one student watch the clock.

PLAY AT A MATH STATION - every teacher needs a math station that runs itself! One student can set the timer and all students pin their cards. Beware, this can be a noisy station - because they're having fun while they learn! (We have been learning to "whisper cheer"!)

My third graders have been using these cards for several months now. I keep them in a bin with clothespins and Dollar Tree timers, and we use them for fast finishers, as a reward, at stations, for homework, and even as a quick assessment. (No clothespins? Use paper clips instead.)

**These are not a no prep item! Please see the preview for directions. They must be printed, cut, folded, glued, and laminated. It's worth it, I promise =) They should last for years!

I hope these Multiplication Minute To Pin It Cards are something that you can use in your classroom.

Happy teaching,
Denise from Light Bulbs and Laughter
