This is designed to help students develop an understanding of multiplication by practicing strategies to solve multiplication problems with a factor of 4 . It includes the following strategies: the commutative property, the identity property, the zero property, repeated addition, arrays, equal groups, and skip counting.
I use this as an option when my students do choice boards in math class or work at an independent station.
Updated 3/4/2014: Now you have 2 choices for the 2nd page of the printable: with or without the distributive property!
