This game is a fun way for students to practice their multiplication facts. Multiplication cards through 10x10 are included as well as cards that say pop. Teachers can print and cut out the cards (I also laminate them) and then put them in a container. The dollar store has fun plastic popcorn containers for $1. This is left in my math workstations for students and is one of the more popular choices. One student pulls a card from the container and answers the multiplication problem. If the student answers correctly he/she can choose another card or decide to pass, keeping the card they solved correctly. The first player keeps going until they decide to pass, answer the question incorrectly or until they get a 'pop' card. When a student pulls a pop card he/she needs to put all of his/her cards back for that round and pass the container to the next player.
See how I use Pop in my classroom!
