Description
Multiplication: Mastering the 30 Toughest Facts w/choice menu for drill and practice includes:
*Suggested implementation with model lesson for determining the 30 facts
*Five quizzes reviewing 30 different multiplication facts from 3-12 (randomly sorted to avoid memorization)
*Choice menu for multiplication homework and parent support
*Teacher tracking chart
*Student progress graph
When to Use:
*These quizzes are best used with students who have already explored initial concepts of multiplication. The factors 0,1,2, 5, 10 and 11 have been eliminated as these are usually the most quickly mastered and do not need repeated practice, leaving only the most challenging 30 facts. This makes it easy to identify student weakness and focus on progress.
How to Use:
*Students begin with a lesson modeling how to determine the 30 toughest multiplication facts.
*On day 2, students take their first quiz and record results as a baseline.
*Students select the lowest factor they struggled with and focus on this factor set to practice using the choice menu for homework.
*Teacher conferences with students the next day and testing is repeated for several weeks until the majority of students have mastered their facts.

This bundle was a great investment to help me work one on one with a child that was struggling to learn her multiplication facts. The activities were simple but useful, and provided the drill and practice I was looking for to help her achieve automaticity with her facts.
