Learning the basic tables is a critical step toward success in higher-level math. As a parent and a teacher I saw basic multiplication was an common area of weakness for children (and even teens). Teachers and Parents often don't have the time or patience to help a child with those dreaded flashcards day in and day out. And students dread rote learning!
I created this system while homeschooling my son who was struggling. There was nothing on the market that worked. The other products out there required extra memorization (factor-rhyming words and stories)! Times to Remember has neither. The memory trigger is visual (the shape of the factors). With Times to Remember a student can jump into any troublesome equation and begin learning immediately.
The picture rhymes worked so well that I later brought it into my elementary classrooms at New Horizons, a bi-lingual school in the Dominican Republic. Weekly multiplication test scores shot up. When parents and teachers began asking where they could get it, I knew I had to get it out there. The process of development was long and tedious, but worth the 6 years. Endorsed by several publishers including Didax, makers of Unifix Math Cubes. Teachers, parents, students, grandparents, tutors and special services are giving it rave reviews. (see www.TheTimesTable.com for reviews/quotes) Note: No ’s’ in table!
Please give it a try, and then share your experience with others. Check out the short video one customer sent into amazon (see Times to Remember, The Fun and Easy Way to Memorize the Multiplication Tables hardcover book). And listen to the rhymes set to music on (Times to Remember, SIng Along Songs) at wwwTheTimesTable.com.
I guarentee that your child will not only learn the basic times tables, but find joy in learning as well.
Best to you and your family!
