Product Description
This Multiplication Product Math Up (Advanced Version) offers a unique way to practice basic multiplication facts. The resource includes 24 cards with factor pairs. Students will match factor pairs that have the same product to create 12 sets of cards.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For this version, most of the factor pair sets are beyond the traditional “basic multiplication facts to 12”. Each matched set of cards includes larger multiples of 2, 3, or 4 (Examples: 2X34, 3X18, and 4X17).

A BASIC version and an INTERMEDIATE version of this resource are also available:
Multiplication Product Match Up (Basic Version)
Multiplication Product Match Up (Intermediate Version)

Several options for differentiation and progressive levels of challenge are available with this activity. Printing instructions are included for 5 options of differentiation. Both color and black & white versions of the cards are provided along with answer keys and an optional student work mat.

Some Options for Incorporating This Resource:

1. To offer the least challenge, print each page of factor pair cards on a different color of paper. Then every “match” will include a card of each color. Use the recording page with the products already shown.

2. To offer a medium-level challenge, print the factor pair cards on the same color of paper and use the recording page with the products already shown. Students will match the factor pairs to the correct products.

3. To offer the greatest challenge, print the factor pair cards on the same color of paper and use the recording page with no products shown. Students will determine the products and match the factor pairs.

4. For less challenge without the recording page, print the factor pair cards and the product cards on three colors of paper.

5. For more challenge without the recording page, print the factor pair cards and the product cards on the same color of paper.
