Students can practice multiplication by completing this fun multiplication for the holidays. In this activity students are trying to determine the number of toy mice (for cats) and bones (for dogs) they will need to donate to the local Humane Society. They will fill out an activity sheet that has multiplication facts for the different rooms at the animal shelter.
After they complete the activity sheet, they will create their own shelter with dogs or cats to determine the number of items needed for the shelter.
