Use this partner game for students who need to gain fluency with their multiplication facts. To play, each student needs one tree, 12 multiplication cards, and 12 pom poms or other tokens. Players each turn over their top card and say the product aloud. The player with the highest product places a token on a spot on his tree. Players then put that card on the bottom of the stack and repeat. The first to cover the tree is the winner. Cards may be shuffled if necessary to continue playing. Enough materials are provided for two pairs of students. However, you can make more copies to have additional sets on hand. Print the playing cards on colored card stock and laminate for durability.
