Product Description
This was EXCELLENT practice for my students! Some of their standardized tests are basic multiplication concepts, but the wording can be tricky to them. I laminated these cards and boards to use for many years :)

They are to find the match of an equation, and two sentence comparisons. For example, they would need to match:

1. 12 = 4 x 3
2. 12 is 4 times as many as 3
3. 12 is 3 times as many as 4

Included:
- Set of 21 cards, to be matched in sets of 3
- Gameboard mat, to place the cards on
- Exit Slip
- Answer keys (for exit slip and matching activity)

My Agenda for this lesson:
1. Did one sorting example on the white board as a whole group
2. Students worked in pairs to identify equations, and then found the comparisons to match. Some of the sorting cards have blanks so they will need to use a whiteboard marker to fill in the blank.
3. Once I checked it, I gave them each an exit slip to work on independently.
