Looking for a simple, but effective way to assess your students' mastery of multiplication facts? Look no further! This package comes 20 Sprints that test individual factors (0-10).
For every factor, there are two sprints ("A" and "B") with 22 problems, designed as one minute probes. Having two probes per factor allows students to see their improvement from their first to their second try, and encourages confidence. The first sprint begins with the multiplications for that particular factor in order, to help students see the mathematical pattern. The second half of the sprint randomizes the multiplications for that factor. In the "B" sprint, the sprint again begins with a pattern and then randomizes the remaining multiplications, but the commutative property is applied so that students see the factor tested as the multiplier.
This package comes with:
-A letter describing the purpose and nature of the Sprints for families
-"A" and "B" Sprints for factors 0 and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 (20 "sprints" total)
-The sprints are free from distraction and include a place for students to record the number they got correct as well as a place for them to write their improvement from "A" to "B"
-A grade book matrix to help you keep track of student scores for each factor
