This set of practice cards includes 24 open-ended answer cards and 24 with multiple-choice style cards. They are the same cards just different answer styles. It also includes an answer key. I use these in my classroom to prepare the students for state testing (STAAR) and for reviewing the concepts that have been taught. These practice cards are so versatile- you can use them in small groups, one-on-one, projecting the problems in whole group setting, scavenger hunts, scoot type lessons, centers/stations, etc.
These cards listed, I made for my third grade class, but they are also a good review for 4th as well as 5th grade students.
The practice cards are black and white (printer/copier friendly).
The students show their answers on lined paper that THEY fold into twelve sections or construction paper. We create a lot of foldables in my classroom to document student work.
I also have created Division, Mixed Operation, Multiplication, Patterns, and Perimeter task/practice cards.
The cards are aligned to the NEW TEKS based standards in Texas for STAAR preparation and can also be used for Common Core practice.
