THE BUNDLE INCLUDES:

✅2 EQUAL GROUP MINI LESSONS

The first mini-lesson gives students manipulatives to cut out and they can make different sets of equal groups in their interactive math notebook using the objects they've cut out. The second mini-lesson teaches the difference between different multiplication terms like repeated addition, product, times, double, twice, each time, factor, multiplication symbol, and product.

✅4 EQUAL GROUP WORKSHEETS

Students practice showing equal groups when given a multiplication equation, drawing multiplication pictures of equal groups, circling equal groups to solve multiplication equations, and matching equal groups of objects to multiplication equations while getting to color at the same time.

✅GAME #1: SAFE OR STEAL

This game is great for enrichment! While I continue working on the equal groups strategy with my lower students, my high ability students play this in groups around the room. It's a card game that is easy to learn and you can quickly teach it to students. They then get extra practice with the skill when they become fast-finishers.

✅CUT AND GLUE ACTIVITY

Students create a picture using the objects at the bottom. They fill in the multiplication equation and figure out the equation's answer using the manipulatives in the picture. It's a great hands on activity as an introduction to multiplication. There are 10 pages included. These are perfect for students who need remediation with this skill or just some extra practice.

✅2 ARRAY MINI LESSONS

The first mini-lesson gives students manipulatives to cut out and they can make different arrays in their interactive math notebook using the objects they've cut out. The second mini-lesson teaches the difference between rows and columns in arrays and gives students practice with this multiplication strategy.

✅4 ARRAY WORKSHEETS

Students practice drawing arrays when given a multiplication equation, drawing arrays when given a multiplication word problem, writing multiplication equations when shown an array, and matching arrays that are the same using the commutative property of multiplication.

✅ARRAY CUT AND GLUE ACTIVITY: ARRAY NEIGHBORHOOD

Uh oh! It looks like everyone forgot where they live! Use the clues to help everyone get home. Cut out each house and each person. On a separate piece of paper/construction paper, glue each person next to the house they live in. Students use their knowledge of arrays to solve the clues.

✅CRAYON SCRAMBLE

Students match the correct crayon matches together. They look at the arrays and count how many rows and columns are in each one. They then find the matching multiplication sentence. This is great as an introduction to multiplication because students do not need to solve to play. They only need to know how to put the multiplication equation together using the picture (array).

The first mini-lesson gives students manipulatives to cut out and they can make different repeated addition equations in their interactive math notebook using the objects they've cut out. The second mini-lesson shows how to use repeated addition to solve real-life multiplication situations with animals. Students can refer back to their notebook at any time to review what they've learned.

Students solve multiplication equations using repeated addition, use repeated addition to figure out some rhino math equations, write repeated addition equations after looking at equal groups in multiplication strategy pictures, and fill in a chart that shows multiplication equations, how many equal groups there are, and a repeated addition sentence.

✅GAME #1: ANIMAL WORLD

You have never seen so many different animals before! Figure out the repeated addition equations on each card about each animal to win and make your way across the game board!

✅GAME #2: COFFEE AND TECHNOLOGY

Each of the cell phone users has lost their cup of coffee. Match up each cup of coffee with the correct cell phone based on the repeated addition equations.

✅SKIP COUNTING MINI LESSON

Students practice skip counting a few equations in this mini-lesson and also get practice learning the best way to skip count. They can refer back to their interactive math notebook while they are still new to using this multiplication strategy.

✅5 SKIP COUNTING WORKSHEETS

Students practice skip counting to solve multiplication equations, use error analysis to find a mistake a student made, do some hopscotch skip counting, and skip count on a hundreds chart to solve.

✅GAME #1: SKIP COUNT KING

I really like to use this game in small groups and it works well for enrichment. For your students that catch on quickly, this can be a great fast finisher activity for students to play around the room. while you pull a small group at your back table.

✅GAME #2: LANA VS. BENNY

Students figure out who got more answers correct--Lana or Benny? There are 24 cards included. Lana and Benny both put an answer on each card. Tally up which student got more answers correct and see who the winner was.

This multiplication strategy bundle is perfect for extra practice, multiplication strategies review, assessments, tests, practice pages, remediation, math centers, multiplication activities, skill practice, homework, for parents, and quizzes.

It includes multiplication facts and equations from 1-12.
