A math practice sheet for students to practice 6 different strategies to help them build fundamental understanding of what is happening in single digit multiplication. These are also good strategies to use further down the line when they cannot remember the answer to a fact. They will at least have a strategy to get the answer instead of sitting there stumped!
Strategies include: skip counting, arrays, groups, number line, and "where the lines cross." There is a completed example of each kind of strategy, and then additional problems for students to try.
