These are designed to help students develop an understanding of multiplication by practicing strategies to solve multiplication problems with factors of 3-9. It includes the following strategies: the commutative property, the identity property, the zero property, repeated addition, arrays, equal groups, and skip counting.
I use these as an option when my students do choice boards in math class or work at an independent station.
11/3/2014 I added a 2nd copy of the 2nd page of each printable. The only change is that I added the distributive property. Each file (1 file for each factor- 7 files total) is now:
page 1: cover
page 2: front page of printable
page 3: back page of printable (no distributive property)
page 4: back page of printable (with distributive property)
page 5: credits page
