"I teach math resource and I have been working with my students on skip counting and this is great. I don't have a 100s chart so I put magnet tape on the back and now I can use it on my whiteboard and it's working great so far."

Description

***Update: 0s, 11s, and 12s have now been added!

This is your new favorite tool to teach and reinforce multiplication facts! Using a chart with 100 pockets, add the number cards when you teach students how to skip count by a new number.

Ex: When you teach the 2s, add the column of 2s to the chart. When you teach the 5s, add the 5s column to the chart.

Students will see the patterns form as they learn more numbers, and they will see a visual progression of their learning!

You can also use these cards as a math center. Put the pocket chart at the students’ level and have them work individually or with a partner to correctly place the cards in the chart. If they have the number 15, they will have to count down 3 spaces in the 5s column to find the right spot! Differentiate the math center by giving students the color coded cards (easier) or the cards that are all the same color (harder).

Details:

  • Cards are 2x2in, making them the perfect fit for a hundred pocket chart!
  • Multiples of numbers 0-12 are included
  • 3 color options: green watercolor, black & white, and rainbow!

Quote from Mrs. Rock’s classroom:

“Wait, I see a pattern! I think when the chart is full, the 5s will go across, too. And the 2s. Wait, they'll all go across!"

Steps:

1. Print

2. Laminate

3. Cut

4. Teach!

Great value
Standards-aligned
7's should be 63, not 64. Not sure how to contact to make the change.

Multiply one-digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in the range 10–90 (e.g., 9 × 80, 5 × 60) using strategies based on place value and properties of operations.
Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
