Do you want your students to become multiplication ninjas—knowing their multiplication facts fluently and quickly?! Well, look no further than this print-and-go, hands-on resource.
In this resource, your students learn about multiplication tables through color-coded arrays.
They make these arrays using the templates and coloring key provided. After they are done, they are able to practice their facts with cards that SHOW them the meaning of each problem. Furthermore, they are able to visually and kinesthetically compare facts. Since each square within each and every template is perfectly the same size, they can compare 5x6 with 6x5 and touch and feel that they are same!
Included in this download is both a black and white, print-and-go, version, in which your students will color the grids to make their own. This is also the printer friendly version! Also included, is a fully colored version for a teacher model. However, if you are in a hurry, you can provide this version for your students too.
Multiplication Ninjas makes a great resource to supplement your multiplication curriculum, but it can also be used an enrichment, take-home packet. Finally, this is a perfect tool for students with special needs!
