Multiplication and Division Word Problems - Differentiated with 3 levels - Spend less time copying and dealing with massive amounts of paper by using journals instead of worksheets for word problems. With journals you can see how kids are progressing and have a record of their work right there in front of you every day. This is very helpful when you are assessing their strengths, needs and next steps. They are great to have when conferring with the students or with their parents.
I have created two forms for the word problems. One has 12 different word problems on a page. The other has the same word problem on it 12 times for making a quick class set. I have saved these files individually in labeled files so you can easily track down a specific problem to print out.
You can use any type of journal or spiral notebook with these problems. Once students understand how to use the word problem journals, you can have them solve one or two word problems every morning when they come in. It's great practice for them and easy to manage for you!
