Students read all 6 word problems on the page. They have to think about whether or not they are being asked to multiply or divide for each. They place a red chip on the problem if it is multiplication and a yellow chip for division (or two-color counters are great). Then students choose 1 of the division models to draw a model for and solve in the open space at the bottom. There are 6 pages with 6 different word problems on each for a whopping total of 36 word problems! Used my multiplication skillz to figure that one out! There is also 1 page that gives hints for helping students decide if it sounds like multiplication or division.
