This is the second lesson in my Multiplication unit. It is designed to take the class through the examples of multiplication with zeros. After the introductory slides, the lesson then moves to interactive activities to check for the students understanding of the concept. All of the problems are designed to be done by individual students that come up to the board to display their answers and explain their reasoning or as cooperative groups that then can explain to the class their answers. There are many practice problems for multiple students to be in charge of answering, making this lesson interactive for every student in the class. At the end of the lesson, there is a simple game that a competitive class would love to play to prove that they have this concept mastered.
