Students will have so much fun practicing multiplication facts with this pictionary game! Drawing pictures in equal groups is a great way to help students truly understand the concept of multiplication. You can include just the fact cards you want students to focus on or use all the cards at once. Fact cards are included from the 2's facts all the way up to the 10's. Two sets of cards are included, one with a colorful border and one without the border to save ink. There are also blank cards included for students to add their own objects to the game. You can have students create story problems using the cards to extend the activity.
The game is played just like the traditional game of Pictionary. Students take turns choosing a picture card and a fact card. Then, they draw a picture to illustrate the object and equation. Their teammates have to correctly guess both the object and the equation.
