This is a great activity that keeps your students engaged and is also rigorous enough to promote student achievement. When I did this is my classroom we used a foldable to record our answers and show student thinkning. My students also used math journals and were able to with math partners to complete each problem. My rule is that only one partner pair can be at each question at a time. Students should have access to manipulatives during this activity. I added an answer sheet however; there is not enough room on it for students to show their thinking so you may want to make a foldable or have them do their work in math journals.
