This has 2 multiplications activities. It's fun and it makes it easy to understand multiplication!
The colorful one is for independent or partner work. It is self-check since the counting dots are there in the quantity to multiply (6 dots for 6's, 7 dots for 7's, etc). The color that a student colors the counting dots, is the color that he/she colors all the products / answers for that number. (if 6 is colored green, then 0,6,12,18,24,30,36,42,49,48,54 are all colored green). See preview pic for example.
The second one is basically "9 Lines" but with quantities, counting, writing, visual. Copy onto cardstock and use for flash cards.
In both activities, students use their pencil, marker, crayon, etc to tap the counting dots to find the product/answer. Laminate, enlarge into a poster, etc
It can be a fun assessment!
