Fraction Card Game ---
These cards could be used in any manner really. Here is how I use them in my classroom:
Put students in groups of 3. Game is best played with that many students in each group so that each player ends up doing the same amount of problems. Have students shuffle cards and then place all 15 cards face up. Each student takes a turn finding a set of 3. They first choose an equation, which is in black. Then they must find the visual model that represents that equation. Last, they must find the answer, which is in gray. *** I just added an answer sheet where students record the equation, the answer as a visual, and show their work using repeated addition.
