These task cards help students practice solving word problems with a mix of fractions, decimals, and mixed numbers by multiplying and dividing.
There are two versions of these task cards—one with a QR code and one without. There are 15 total cards.
To use the cards, print and cut. Punch a hole through the circle and place a binder rings. Students can work in small group or stations to solve the problems. You can have several sets available for each group.
Print on cardstock and laminate for a longer lasting set of cards.
To use the QR code, students need a device with a QR code reader app downloaded on it. I like i-nigma but there are several free versions available.
I wanted to have students have several problems to work on for practice. You could chunk this assignment and give students a few problems at a time so it won’t be so overwhelming.
