This game should be played after students have been taught how to multiply decimals. Students can play by themselves or against a partner. This game also works great as a math center.
Materials: Multiplying Decimals Dice Game Sheet, 5 Dice, Pencil
Directions: Each student or pair needs a total of 5 dice. Students roll the dice and fill in the blanks on their game sheet with the numbers they roll. If students are playing with a partner, they take turns rolling the dice. If there are only 4 blanks then only 4 dice need to be rolled. Rules can be made to make it a competitive game. For example, “Whoever gets the largest number wins” or “Whoever gets the smallest number wins.” After students solve their multiplication problem, they roll again and solve.
