What is better than a worksheet but still provides authentic practice of multiplying decimals? A QR CODE SCAVENGER HUNT!
With this scavenger hunt students will practice solving decimal multiplication moving decimals 2 to 3 digit places. For example 4.5 x 6.2 and 4.24 x 6.8 or 32.65 x 7.2
This would also be an extension to your fifth grade standards where students only need to multiply to the hundredths. With the QR codes students are engaged and excited to reveal the next problem to tackle! After they solve the problem, they look around the room for the answer. This is fun but also provides a self checking tool, because if they do not see their answer then they are not correct.
