Multiplying decimals made fun! Instead of doing another boring worksheet, try a scavenger hunt and get the kids out of their seats and moving around while they multiply decimals! My students are always highly engaged when I use a scavenger hunt! This self-checking scavenger hunt consists of 15 problems that require students to multiply decimals up to the hundredths place.
Post the pages around your room in a random order. Provide each student with a copy of the student work page. This allows them to easily keep their work organized. Students may start on any letter they choose. They solve the problem on the top of the page, find their answer on the bottom of another page, then solve the problem on the top of that page. They continue in this pattern until they return to the letter where they started the activity. When starting with the “U” page, the letters will spell UNCOPYRIGHTABLE when completed correctly. This makes it super easy to check! Enjoy!
