This activity can be used for students to complete on their own or do with a partner. Students should complete the problems, then carefully cut out the turkey and all of it’s feathers. The next step would be to assemble the turkey by gluing the feathers to the back of the turkey. There are marks where each feather should be glued, so that the students work will show once it is completed.
Turkey and feathers hand drawn by myself, math problems are based of Pearson Envision 5th Grade Topic 6, Lesson 1 & 2. The problems are rephrased to go with Thanksgiving and the turkey.
