In this NO-PREP activity, students will move around the room to practice solving word problems by multiplying two fractions. This is READY TO PRINT and will KEEP STUDENTS ENGAGED while working on their math skills!

In this activity, students will read word problems and solve them by multiplying two fractions. The problems are of varying difficulty to keep students moving throughout the activity. SEE THE PREVIEW TO VIEW ALL OF THE PROBLEMS INCLUDED.

This activity can be completed individually or in pairs. A student answer sheet is included. There are 10 stations. Two versions of the maze are included: color and black and white. The differences are shown in the thumbnails. An answer key is included. Download the preview and look at the thumbnails to make sure these problems are appropriate for your students.

Stations mazes are great because they get students up and moving around the room. They also encourage students to check their work carefully since an incorrect answer will eventually send them back to a problem they have already solved. Successfully completing the maze requires students to slow down and check their work.
