For this assignment, the students are given 20 equations involving the multiplication of integers with different signs (positive and negative). For each equation, students are to draw in a counters model and represent the problem on a number line before recording the final answer.
An answer key is provided (not including the counters models or the number lines as different teachers will have different strategies for these parts).
This activity can be used as independent practice, partner work, homework, review, assessment, small group lesson, reteach, bell work, etc.
