This set of 18 math task cards will give your students additional practice with multiplying whole numbers and decimals by a power of ten. Students can practice multiplying by using different strategies including the standard algorithm and moving digits on a place value chart. There are four cards per page. There are also different options for using the recording sheet. You can have students roll dice to determine which number they are multiplying by. For example, if they roll a #1 or #2 - they multiply by 10 , #3 or #4 - they multiply by 100, etc. You can also randomly circle the power of ten that you want them to multiply by. Perfect for centers, AIS groups, or independent practice. Simply print and cut along the guidelines. Laminate and use them again and again. These cards can be used along with my Dividing Whole Numbers and Decimals by a Power of 10 task cards - found at my TPT store. My division cards are all numbered with an asterisk beside them so they can be mixed together for even more practice!
