This bingo game is a great way to review how to multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers. It consists of three bingo boards and 40 cards the students can draw from. I also included a blank board and sheet of cards if you want to create your own bingo game!
Here are the directions:
-Split students into groups of 2-3.
-Give each group a set of game boards, drawing cards that are cut out, and some chips or counters.
-Each student will choose a game board (A, B, or C) to use.
-One student will draw a card from the drawing pile.
-The students will have to solve the multiplication or division problem involving fractions and mixed numbers found on the card.
-The students then will have to locate the product or quotient on their game boards and cover it with a counter or chip. Their answer may appear on one, two, or all three of their game boards.
-Repeat steps 4-6 until one student has 5 counters in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally).
I hope your students enjoy this activity. My students loved it. We use it as a review before a test! It is also great to use for math centers or as an early finisher activity.
