This is a board game where students can practice multiplying and dividing with multiples of ten. Some of my students were struggling with this concept, so I came up with a game for them to use during stations for the students who understand it, and with a parpapro during our Intervention Block for the students who were struggling. It keeps them engaged, and they love practicing this skill.
In this game, students take turns drawing cards from the pile. When a student draws a card, he/she solves the problem on one of the work mats. Then, another player will check the answer key to see if he/she is right. If the player is right, he/she rolls the die and moves the indicated number of spaces. If the answer is wrong, the player's turn is over, and play moves to the next player. The first person to the "Finish" is the winner.
