This is a fun way for your students to practice multiplying a single digit by a multiple of ten. Students choose any card to start on. They start by solving the problem on their first card. Once they have the answer, they record it on the answer sheet. They will need to search the room for another card that has that answer on it. Once they find it they will then solve the new problem on that card. . It is so much better than a traditional worksheet. The students will have so much fun with the movement that they won't even realize they are doing work! My students have been begging me to make more of these. They are actually excited to do the activity. The 16 cards correlate with 3.NBT.3 from the fourth grade common core math objectives.
