The preview pics won't work, and I've tried everything. So here's my blog entry about it, complete with (working) pictures. http://languageofspeech.blogspot.com/2012/10/materials-wednesday-multisyllabic.html
With Election Day right around the corner, what better than to bite into some juicy multisyllabic word practice for your students? There are at least 3 ways to play this game. For your younger kids (or those who need more help segmenting the words), are the words broken into syllables. A second set of cards has the vocabulary word on the front for older students or those who become familiar with the segmented words. Students can play the card game and say the word. Included are also cards for an extra turn or to put a card back.
For your older students working on vocabulary, have them match the words to an appropriate definition (cards provided, along with answer key). When they are ready for a challenge, use as drill for them to provide the definition.
