It serves as a therapy activity
and a take-home practice
⭐Targets fine motor skills:
Practice cutting, gluing, folding, looping, rotating, and turning.
⭐Targets Receptive language skills:
following/imitating directions, retaining key details, phonemic awareness, letter recognition, building vocabulary.
⭐Targets Expressive language skills:
sounds at word level, skills in segmenting and blending, Allows for opportunities to answer WH questions:What is this?, What does it taste like?, Where do you find this?, etc.
⭐Allows for opportunities to target using Regular plurals:
How many do you have? ….I have 5 coconuts.
⚠️At the end of each strip, count all the items and then produce a short phrase or sentence to practice using the plural form of each target word. You will find a visual picture cue at the end of each strip that corresponds to the type of plural ending.
