Multisyllabic Words Smash Mats and Coloring Sheets

Address the phonological process of syllable reduction by working on multisyllabic words (2, 3, and 4 syllable words) in speech therapy with these gumball-themed smash mats and coloring sheets!

This packet includes 19 smash mats & 19 black and white copies for coloring. Each smash mat and coloring sheet has 8 pictures. Laminate each smash mat or put inside a sheet protector. Name each picture, producing all syllables, and then cover the picture with a Play-Doh gumball! Continue until all pictures have been covered. Alternates to Play-Doh would be covering the pictures with magnetic bingo chips or pom poms. For the black and white coloring sheets, name the picture, producing all syllables, and then color or dot the picture! Color the gumball machine after all the pictures have been colored.

There are 80 2-syllable words (10 smash mats & 10 coloring sheets)

There are 40 3-syllable words (5 smash mats & 5 coloring sheets)

There are 32 4-syllable words (4 smash mats & 4 coloring sheets)
