These activities align with an online Mummy Making Simulation. The link is provided in the downloaded materials. This student-centered activity is an excellent tool for anyone starting the gamification process!!
This lesson includes:
1. Anticipatory guide
2. Answer Key
3. Two Possible Exit Slips
An anticipation guide is a comprehension strategy that is used before online simulations to activate students' prior knowledge and build curiosity about a new topic. Before completing the online simulation, students listen to or read several statements about key concepts presented in the game. Anticipation guides stimulate students' interest in a topic and set a purpose for “playing”. You will find this will slow students down during the simulation and increase their learning.
