In this assignment, students are given the background information for why the Munich Conference was called in 1938.

Students will determine the pros and cons of the options - 1) allow Hitler to keep Austria and the Sudetenland, 2) NOT allow Hitler to keep Austria and the Sudetenland, 3) an option that they must think of themselves.

Then students will read 3 documents - one by Neville Chamberlain, one by Winston Churchill, and one by Henry Channon. Each have guiding questions.
