Description
This muscular system lab activity allows students to determine if blinking is voluntary or involuntary (you will need to teach about voluntary and involuntary muscles prior to this activity). There are 3 sections in this lab- how many times do you blink per minute, how long can you go without blinking, and measuring blinking as a reflex.
Required materials per group: stopwatch, clear plastic page protectors, and cotton balls.
