The Museum Visit Activity Book was created to facilitate the gap that exists between small local history museums and and the general education of children.
While large and well funded museums often offer a host of educational activities and products, small Local History Museums usually do not do so. Their offerings may be nothing at all or simple generic and uninteresting coloring pages and flyers that refer to museum schedules.
With The Museum Visit Activity Book, teachers and home schooling parents can prepare to utilize targeted worksheets as well as local history discussions and activities during and after visits to the smaller museums. The worksheets having been designed to help students use perceptual and critical thinking skills to analyze the displays they encounter students, such students will be encouraged to grow dynamically from the experiences gained in each museum they visit.
